Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cups split black gram lentils


  • 1 cups split green gram lentils


  • 2 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp red pepper powder


  • 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder


  • 400 gms beaten curd


  • 1 bowls tamarind dates chutney


  • 1 bowls coriander green chillies chutney


  • 1/2 litre oil for frying


  • 1 bowls finely chopped almonds ,cashews ,kismish and dry coconut powder

Directions

  • Wash and soak both the lentils for 5 to 6 hours
  • Now drain and grind smoothly
  • Wet a cloth ..take a lemon size portion and spread by wet hands upto 3 inches
  • Now fill chopped dry fruits dry coconut mixture
  • Fold to seal it
  • Press the sides and deep fry at medium heat
  • Make all the same way
  • Soak in water all gujias for 20 to 30 minutes
  • Now squeeze and spread curd ,both the chutneys
  • Sprinkle salt ,pepper powder and cumin powder
  • Serve now
